Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect roadway materials, perform sampling and testing independently.
• Inspect the placement of asphalt and concrete roadway structures (curb, gutter, sidewalks).
• Inspect traffic control devices (signs, signals, pavement markings) for compliance and safety.
• Inspect miscellaneous roadway items and ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Perform traffic control and erosion control inspections.
• Assist in determining and resolving utility conflicts.
• Assist in inspection, sampling, and testing on bridge projects for concrete elements.
• Assist in inspecting pile foundations and bridges (driven/drilled piles, shafts).
• Maintain project records, daily work reports, and certify logs; assist monthly estimates.
• Assist with phones and customer service; perform other related duties.
