Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating backhoe equipment.
• Experience operating construction sweepers or power broom equipment.
• Experience in road construction, asphalt paving, utility work, or heavy civil construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate backhoe and broom equipment on construction and paving projects.
• Operate power broom to clean roads and surfaces.
• Remove debris and prepare surfaces for paving or completion.
• Assist paving, utility, and maintenance crews as needed.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections before and after trips.
• Follow safety policies, OSHA regulations, and environmental guidelines.
• Communicate with supervisors, crew, and other operators.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
