Texas Materials, a CRH Company, is seeking a dependable Backhoe/Broom Operator in Houston to support construction, paving, and roadway maintenance. This full-time role requires operating backhoes and power broom equipment to perform excavation, trenching, material handling, and roadway sweeping.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of heavy equipment experience, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to work with diverse crews.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating backhoe equipment.
• Experience operating construction sweepers or power broom equipment preferred.
• Experience in road construction, asphalt paving, utility work, or heavy civil construction preferred.

Mansioni

• Safely operate backhoe and broom equipment in support of construction and paving projects.
• Perform excavation, trenching, grading, backfilling, and material handling activities.
• Operate power broom equipment to clean roads, paving surfaces, shoulders, and construction areas.
• Read and follow project plans, grade stakes, and supervisor instructions.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.
