Job summary

Virginia Paving Company is seeking an Asphalt Distributor Operator to join our field crew. This hourly, full-time role performs paving tasks on road projects, operating a distributor truck to apply asphalt emulsions and liquid AC as directed by the supervisor.

Qualified candidates have a CDL with N-tanker and X-hazmat endorsements and 2+ years in asphalt or road construction. Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather and shift schedules. Competitive benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Requires 2+ years of industry-related experience in asphalt, roads, highways, and bridges.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CDL A or B with N-tanker & X-hazmat endorsement required.

Responsibilities

• Understand and execute paving procedures to meet project standards.
• Drive and operate a distributor truck spraying asphalt emulsions and/or liquid AC.
• Perform daily safety checks and inspections for leaks and damage.
• Shifts may vary according to project demands.
