Job summary

Texas Materials is seeking a skilled Oil Distributor Operator to join our paving and roadway construction team. You will operate and maintain asphalt distributor trucks, applying emulsions, tack coat, prime coat, and other liquids to road surfaces with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of heavy equipment experience and prior asphalt distributor truck work. The role requires on-site work, potential overtime, and collaboration with foremen and project managers to

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating construction equipment.
• Experience operating an asphalt distributor truck strongly preferred.
• Experience in asphalt paving, roadway construction, or heavy highway projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an asphalt distributor truck to apply coat and liquids.
• Perform material application according to project specs and production requirements.
• Monitor spray bar systems, rates, temperatures and coverage for quality results.
• Coordinate with paving crews and project managers for efficient operations.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and documentation.
