Job summary

Goodyear Commercial Tire Centers seeks a Roadside Technician in Meridian, MS. You will respond to tire-related failures at customer locations, repairing or changing tires as needed, often while on-call after hours. When idle, you may mount orders, clean and organize the shop, and assist with general duties.

No prior experience required; training will be provided. A valid CDL/driver eligibility, 21+ years old, and work authorization in the U.S. are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous Commercial Service Tire experience.

Responsibilities

• Servicing Commercial Tires including dismounting, mounting, and repairing any type of tire.
• Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout as necessary.
• Inflating of tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
• Complying with OSHA regulations and safety requirements including proper PPE, tire cages, and safety policies.
