Job summary

Momentum BMW, part of the Sonic Automotive family, is seeking a Roadside Technician to perform routine maintenance and provide on-site roadside assistance. You will support vehicle safety and reliability through quick service maintenance, inspections, and on-site roadside support as needed.

The role requires performing oil changes, tire inspections, and basic vehicle inspections, with responsibilities including communicating findings to Service Advisors and maintaining safe work areas.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in automotive maintenance or roadside assistance.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and a problem-solving mindset.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings if needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid top-offs.
• Inspect tires, check air pressure, and perform minor tire repairs or changes.
• Respond to roadside service calls and provide on-site assistance (jump starts, tire changes, lockouts, battery testing).
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and identify potential mechanical or safety concerns.
• Communicate findings clearly to Service Advisors or Managers for repair recommendations.
• Safely operate shop equipment, lifts, and roadside service vehicles.
