Job summary
Momentum BMW/MINI in Houston, part of Sonic Automotive, is hiring a Roadside Technician to perform routine maintenance in the shop or provide on-site roadside assistance. You''ll help ensure safety and reliability through quick-service maintenance and inspections.
The role requires prior automotive maintenance or roadside experience, a valid driver''s license, and the ability to work outdoors and flexibly, including some weekends. Sonic Automotive offers a competitive hourly wage and benefits.
Qualifications
- Experience in automotive maintenance or roadside assistance.
- Ability to operate shop equipment safely.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Authorized to work in the USA.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance like oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid top-offs.
- Inspect tires, check air pressure, and perform minor tire repairs.
- Respond to roadside calls and provide on-site assistance (jump starts, lockouts, battery testing).
- Document services and communicate findings to service advisors or managers.
- Maintain clean, organized and safe work areas in shop and field environments.
