The role of the Roadside Technician in our company can be summarized as: “An emergency response tire technician for semi-truck fleets.” When a customer experiences a tire-related failure, a Technician is dispatched to the location to repair or change the tire. This role requires roadside work. During times without service calls, Technicians assist with mounting orders, cleaning, organizing the shop, and other duties as needed.

Experience isn't required for this position. You will be trained in any necessary skills.

Shift Information: There is a mandatory on-call rotation. During on-call periods, Technicians are expected to handle after-hours service calls with a 95% acceptance rate, including weekends and nights. After-hours calls are paid at double-time with a minimum of 2 hours per call. For example, accepting, arriving, and completing a 45-minute call will earn an additional 1 hour 15 minutes of double-time pay.

Basic Requirements

• Valid driver's license and meet commercial driver qualification requirements
• At least 21 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Previous Commercial Service Tire experience

About the Role: Skills You Will Learn

• Servicing Commercial Tires including dismounting, mounting, and repairing
• Performing match mounting, dual assembly matching, and radial runout checks
• Inflating tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements
• Following OSHA regulations and safety policies, including PPE use and tire cage procedures
