Job summary

U.S. Xpress is seeking a Roadside Support Specialist to receive and triage driver-reported maintenance issues, coordinate on-road repairs, and ensure compliance with DOT and company standards. The role involves fast-paced decision-making and coordinating with vendors and drivers.

Responsibilities include documenting events, negotiating repair costs, and maintaining knowledge of repair platforms and safety regulations. On-site work with potential after-hours support is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree in a technical/business field preferred or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year in a call center or customer service environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, document, and resolve driver-reported maintenance issues.
• Triage breakdowns to identify safe, cost-effective repairs.
• Coordinate road calls and direct drivers to repair facilities.
• Ensure DOT/FMCSA and company procedures are followed.
• Maintain thorough documentation in company systems.
