AAA is hiring Full Time Roadside Assistance Tow Truck Drivers to join our team in Columbus, OH. Rain or shine, snow or ice, our drivers assist members by changing flat tires, jumpstarting batteries, or towing vehicles. We seek dependable, empathetic individuals who love helping others and are comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.

We offer a competitive compensation package, generous PTO, excellent 401(k) with company match, comprehensive health benefits, overtime, and monthly bonuses. No CDL required! Paid training is provided.

Benefits include:

• Base pay between $20.50/hr - $23.25/hr, depending on experience
• Full-time, first shift (including weekends)
• Overtime during peak seasons

Responsibilities:

1. Provide towing and recovery services following established guidelines.
2. Assist with lock-outs, fuel delivery, battery jumps, and tire changes.
3. Communicate effectively with members to ensure safety and satisfaction.
4. Make safe, informed decisions regarding vehicle services.
5. Accurately enter call details, process payments, and complete reports.
6. Conduct vehicle and equipment inspections, ensuring safety and security.
7. Support AAA through participation in events and promotional activities.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license for your state; meet licensing requirements.
• Ability to pass a physical exam and background checks.
• 3+ years in automotive/mechanical work or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and perform physical tasks.
• Operate vehicles with manual or automatic transmissions.
• Effective communication skills, proficiency with GPS and technology.
• Complete departmental training within 60 days of hire.
