Nassau County Board of County Commissioners in Yulee, Florida seeks a seasoned supervisor for roads, bridges and drainage systems. You will plan, organize and direct construction and maintenance work, manage budgets, schedules, and personnel, and ensure safety and compliance with FDOT guidelines.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma or GED with 5 years in road/bridge work (3 years on concrete/asphalt surface prep) and at least 2 years in supervision; a valid Florida driver’s license

Formación

• High school diploma or GED with 5 years in road/bridge maintenance.
• 3 years in concrete/asphalt surface prep and 2 years supervisory.
• Valid State Driver's License.
• FDOT Intermediate Maintenance of Traffic and DEP Stormwater training within 12 months.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, organize and supervise road, bridge and drainage projects.
• Schedule, instruct, plan and evaluate staff performance.
• Prepare project estimates and coordinate materials.
• Ensure compliance with FDOT guidelines and county ordinances.
• Maintain records and report weekly to Road Director.
• Respond to public inquiries and manage equipment upkeep.
