AtkinsRéalis in Denver, CO is seeking an entry-level Roads & Highways Civil Engineer to join our Roads & Highways Team. You will assist in planning, design, and production of engineering drawings and may supervise drawing production.
Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited program and 0-2 years of related experience. Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation or OpenRoads Designer is strongly preferred.
AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Roads & Highways Civil Engineer to join our Roads & Highways Team. This is an entry-level position and is based out of Denver, Colorado.
Your role Assist in the planning, design, and production of engineering drawings. May supervise the production of these drawings. Carry out specific assignments in preparing and assembling specifications. Participate in conducting engineering investigations and planning work by completing well-defined tasks. These tasks may include collection and analysis of data using established procedures, performance of routine calculations, and participation in evaluating the feasibility of alternate solutions. Prepare assigned sections of reports working under the close review of a more experienced professional. Participate on projects involving construction activities by reviewing shop drawings for conformance with easily interpreted specifications; assist in recordkeeping and in generating progress reports; observe relatively simple construction procedures and collect samples for quality control testing.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, or OpenRoads Designer (strongly preferred) Demonstrate strong communication skills including active listening Willingness to ask questions
E.I. or E.I.T. (or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire)

Expected compensation range is between $70,000 - $83,000 annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
