Job summary

HDR is seeking a Highway/Roads EIT/Coordinator to join our Transportation group in Rapid City, SD. You will collaborate with project engineers on detailed roadway designs, focusing on alignments, profiles, drainage, and construction estimates to deliver safe, sustainable infrastructure.

The role requires an engineering degree, EIT certification, and proficiency with MicroStation and AutoCAD; familiarity with Bentley/OpenRoads/Civil 3D is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate required.
• Proficiency with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD; familiarity with Bentley ConceptStation/Open Roads Designer and/or Autodesk InfraWorks/Civil 3D.
• Active participant in HDR's employee-owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on detailed design of urban and rural roadway projects with a project engineering team.
• Own alignment, profile, geometrics, drainage, and development of plans and construction estimates.
• Assist with creation and submission of technical reports, specifications, and calculations.
• Perform other duties as needed.
