Job summary

KLA Industries is seeking a CNC Field Service Technician to support customers by maintaining and repairing CNC machine tools and ensuring equipment operates at peak performance. Travel to customer sites across MN, WI, SD, ND and surrounding region to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machines, spindles, and controls.

You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and submit clear service reports while delivering professional customer service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on CNC repair or maintenance experience.
• Experience with rotating machinery, spindles, and precision bearings.
• Ability to read and interpret CNC controls and electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic schematics.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machine tools at customer sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance and identify performance improvements.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Submit clear service and installation reports to customers.
• Build strong relationships with customers and vendors.
