Job summary

Sears Home Services is seeking an Appliance and Refrigeration Repair Technician in Indianapolis, IN. You will diagnose and repair major home appliances in customers’ homes, providing high-quality service and solutions.

The role includes travel 75%+ to customer sites, on-site repair work, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction. Training is provided; benefits include health coverage, 401(k), and company vehicle support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• EPA Type I or EPA Universal certification required.
• Mechanical knowledge and aptitude with testing and repair tools.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing a variety of home appliances preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 100% and follow directions for quality workmanship.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive to multiple customers' homes daily to diagnose and repair a variety of appliances (refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, microwaves).
• Deliver excellent customer experience that exceeds expectations.
• Provide customers with value-added solutions to improve home cleanliness and comfort.
• Keep company truck well-maintained and organized; manage parts efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
