Job summary

Sears Home Services is seeking an Appliance and Refrigeration Repair Technician in Hoffman Estates, IL. You will travel to customers’ homes to diagnose and repair appliances, delivering top-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include maintaining vehicle readiness, ordering parts via smartphone, and adhering to safety and quality standards. EPA certification and 1–2 years’ experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• EPA Type I or EPA Universal certification required.
• Mechanical knowledge and aptitude with testing/repair tools.
• Experience repairing and diagnosing various home appliances preferred.
• Able to read and follow written technical instructions.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a variety of appliances in customers' homes (refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, microwaves).
• Deliver outstanding customer experience and value-added solutions.
• Maintain and organize the company truck and parts; follow safety and quality processes.
• Support ongoing duties and perform other tasks as assigned.
