Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Minnesota Class C Driver's License (CDL) and acceptable driving record.
• Experience operating a large box van and using motorized vehicle tailgates under various weather conditions.
• Basic computer skills- email, word processing, and spreadsheets.
• Data entry and management skills sufficient to log and retrieve inventory specifications.
• Customer services skills sufficient to develop effective working relationships.
• Ability to operate mailing equipment.
• Ability to maintain records and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Spend roughly 60% of your day on the road, safely driving a state vehicle to collect and deliver mail across participating state agencies, the legislature, and the general public.
• When not driving, operate postal machinery and sort/process outbound USPS mail in a central mail hub.
