Qualifications

• A high school diploma is required.
• Must have a valid South Carolina driver's license and be at least 21 years of age with one year driving experience.
• Must complete a nationwide criminal background check including fingerprinting.
• CDL knowledge testing responsibilities require CDL examiner trainer course completion.

Responsibilities

• Administers road test examinations for multiple vehicle classes (A–F, M).
• Examines documents and issues licenses, permits, registrations and IDs.
• Greets customers and directs them to appropriate areas; answers inquiries.
• Collects fees, prepares daily reports, and maintains records; performs routine office tasks.
