Job summary

Bergey’s Inc. is a long-standing family-owned business with more than 50 locations and 1,800+ teammates across PA, DE, MD, and NJ, seeking a Commercial Tire Technician to join our service team. You’ll perform on-site and shop tire service for trucks, with emphasis on safety and customer service.

Compensation is $20 to $25 per hour based on experience, with a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, holidays, 401(k) profit sharing, life insurance, EAP, and more. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required.
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
• Willingness to earn TIA Certification (training provided).
• Must be 21 years old.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Mounting, dismounting, balancing, repairing, and replacing commercial truck tires.
• Performing roadside and customer yard service calls (after-hours rotation).
• Operating a commercial service truck.
• Safely lifting vehicles using hydraulic jacks and air tools.
• Inspecting tires and determining repairability.
• Completing work orders and service documentation.
• Performing daily maintenance on vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Following all safety procedures and using PPE.

What You’ll Do

As a Commercial Tire Technician, you’ll provide on-site and shop-based tire service for light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks.

Pay: $20 to $25 / hour based on experience

Your responsibilities will include:

• Mounting, dismounting, balancing, repairing, and replacing commercial truck tires
• Performing roadside and customer yard service calls (after-hours rotation required)
• Operating a commercial service truck
• Safely lifting vehicles using hydraulic jacks and air tools
• Inspecting tires and determining repairability

• Maintaining professional, customer-focused service
• Supporting additional shop and service needs as assigned
