Job summary

Bobcat - GDN in Piedmont, CA is seeking a Road Service Technician to join our team. You will perform routine maintenance and repair on Bobcat equipment, diagnose major system issues, and support customer relations with a can-do attitude.

This full-time role offers a 7am-5pm schedule, competitive pay ($35–$38/hour DOE) and benefits including health, dental, 401K with company match, paid holidays, and training opportunities. A valid driver's license is required; CDL not needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• 2+ years experience in heavy equipment service (skid steers, excavators, etc.).
• Strong mechanical background with diagnostics, diesel, hydraulics and electrical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily equipment and preventative maintenance inspections.
• Diagnose and repair major systems on Bobcat equipment.
• Perform system rebuilds and overhauls; welding as needed.
• Collaborate with Parts, Service, Sales and Rental teams.
• Take on additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.

Weare currently searching for aRoadService Technician to join our team. Our Road Service Technicians playa key rolein our customer relations and service representation. $35.00-$38.00 DOE

Plus Efficiency Bonus

Monday -Friday (7am-5pm)

Essential Functions:

• Conducting daily equipment and preventative maintenance inspections
• Diagnosing and repairing all major systems on compact equipment, with emphasis on the Bobcat line
• Performing system rebuilds and overhauls
• Welding
• Work effectively with all levels of the company -- Parts, Service, Sales, Rental
• Performing any additional tasks assigned by the Supervisor

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license
• 2+ years' experience in heavy and or equipment service operations – skid steers, excavators, etc.
• Strong mechanical background including excellent skills in diagnostics, diesel mechanics, hydraulics, electrical.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, organized, energetic, and capable of staying cool under pressure from multiple ongoing projects, computer skills.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to various extreme conditions as this position works indoors and outdoors. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

Physical Requirements

• Be able to effectively communicate with customers.
• This position is highly active, requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.
• Employees will frequently lift and/or move items over 50lbs.
• Specific vision requirements required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
