Job summary

Acme Operations LLC in Piedmont, SC is seeking a Road Service Technician to perform field maintenance and repairs on compact equipment, with emphasis on Bobcat machines. You will diagnose, repair, and rebuild systems, welding, and coordinate with Parts, Service, Sales, and Rental teams.

This full-time role requires a valid driver's license, 2+ years of heavy equipment service experience, and a proactive, can-do attitude.

Qualifications

2+ years' experience in heavy equipment service operations (skid steers, excavators, etc.).
Strong mechanical background including diagnostics, diesel, hydraulics, and electrical skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct daily equipment and preventative maintenance inspections.
Diagnose and repair major systems on Bobcat equipment.
Perform system rebuilds and overhauls; welding as needed.
Collaborate with Parts, Service, Sales and Rental teams.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.

Weare currently searching for aRoadService Technician to join our team. Our Road Service Technicians playa key rolein our customer relations and service representation. We are looking for a candidate who has a passion for helping our customers with a can-do attitude exceeding ourcustomer'sexpectations.

$35.00-$38.00 DOE

Monday -Friday (7am-5pm)

Essential Functions :

Conducting daily equipment and preventative maintenance inspections
Diagnosing and repairing all major systems on compact equipment, with emphasis on the Bobcat line
Performing system rebuilds and overhauls
Welding
Work effectively with all levels of the company -- Parts, Service, Sales, Rental
Performing any additional tasks assigned by the Supervisor

Qualifications:

Valid driver's license
2+ years' experience in heavy and or equipment service operations – skid steers, excavators, e tc .
Strong mechanical background including excellent skills in diagnostics , diesel mechanics, hydraulics , electrical .
Self-motivated, results-oriented, organized, energetic, and capable of staying cool under pressure from multiple ongoing projects , computer skills.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to various extreme conditions as this position works indoors and outdoors. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

Physical Requirements

Be able to effectively communicate with customers.
This position is highly active , requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day .
Employees will frequently lift and/or move items over 50lbs.
Specific vision requirements required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
