JOB SUMMARY: We are looking for a road mechanic to join our growing team! The right candidate will have mechanical experience on cars, trucks, or forklifts. Forklift knowledge is a definite plus! After a training period, the applicant will be provided with a service van to visit customer locations to repair forklifts, pallet jacks, etc. We also provide a gas card, cell phone, and tablet for work-related travel and communication. The technician will typically not report to the main office daily, as they can go directly from home to the first customer job and onward. Experience with technology is a plus, as all hours and tasks will be logged through a tablet. We are a family-owned business with 35 years of operation, offering excellent pay and benefits. Responsibilities

• Mobile field repairs
• Efficient equipment maintenance according to industry and company standards
• Complete required documentation, including work orders
• Keep job sites and work areas neat, clean, and organized
• Observe and comply with all safety standards and company policies
• Perform other assigned tasks to support the service & repair department
• Ensure safety for employees, customers, the public, and the environment during work activities

Qualifications

• At least one year of mechanical experience
• A dedicated team player with a strong customer service orientation
• Self-motivated and professional
• Own tools (employer offers a tool allowance for some new tools)
• Valid driver's license
