Job summary

AAA Driving School in Costa Mesa, CA is hiring a full-time Driver Training Instructor to deliver hands-on, behind-the-wheel instruction to students of varying ages. You’ll follow the AAA curriculum, use school software to monitor progress, and provide personalized coaching to help students succeed.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid license with a clean record, and at least 5 years of driving experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in driving instruction, education, or automotive industry required.
• Confident with the public, especially teens.
• Commitment to promoting safe driving habits.

Responsibilities

• Deliver behind-the-wheel instruction to students of varying ages and experience levels, following AAA’s curriculum and training standards.
• Use our driving school software to track and manage student progress.
• Assess student performance and provide personalized guidance.
• Stay current on safe and defensive driving practices and maintain all required state documentation.
• Travel within a 50-mile radius as needed; a company vehicle with paid gas, maintenance, and insurance is provided.
