Job summary

U-Haul is hiring a U-Box Customer Care Driver in Traverse City, Michigan. You will operate flatbed and forklift equipment, load/unload containers, and provide courteous customer service on local routes. Training is provided for equipment operation and safety.

Qualifications

• Clean motor vehicle driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Department of Transportation certification
• Commercial driver’s license (CDL)
• Must be 18 or older

Responsibilities

• Operate a flatbed truck (training provided)
• Operate a forklift (8000-lb) or truck-mounted forklift (training provided)
• Load and unload storage containers for delivery
• Transport containers to and from destinations—local routes only
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education via U-Haul University
