Mass General Brigham is seeking a part-time Road phlebotomist at North Shore Medical Center, Inc. The position runs Monday through Friday, 8:00am-1:00pm, with a provided company car.

You will collect and process blood specimens from patients, ensure proper labeling and handling, and support patient care teams while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

No prior experience required; completion of a phlebotomy course preferred; a high school diploma is required as the minimum qualification.

Formación

Responsabilidades

• Obtains quality blood samples from patients of all ages using phlebotomy techniques.
• Ensures accurate patient identification and proper labeling, processing, handling and transportation of specimens.
• Assists in adverse patient reactions and responds to medical emergencies as needed in inpatient settings.
• Communicates procedures clearly to patients and care teams to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Follows safety rules for handling sharps and biohazardous materials and maintains HIPAA compliance.
