Job Description Summary

Road Mechanic – As a Road Mechanic, you will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and make advanced repairs at the customer’s location, ensuring equipment runs safely with minimal downtime. You’ll work on a variety of makes and models in remote locations and will develop skills for a career track in service or operations management.

Responsibilities

• Work on a variety of makes, models & equipment in challenging remote locations
• Develop new skills for a career track in service or operation management
• Work with an incredible team of people in a safety‑focused environment
• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose problems and make advanced repairs at the customer’s location to avoid downtime
• Work with Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools and equipment; specialty lines may include large‑scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems and oil & gas related equipment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desired
• 1–2 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty equipment (generators, pumps, HVAC or oil & gas) based on role
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record (21 years of age & CDL license may be required in some locations)
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems, electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals
• Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required.

Base Pay

Base Pay Range: $21.38 - 29.39 (Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including position, location, education, training, and/or experience).
