Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Road Mechanic to maintain and repair equipment at customer sites in a safety‑conscious culture.

You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and service a fleet including aerial work platforms, generators, pumps, HVAC, and oil & gas equipment. The role involves working with hydraulic and electrical systems in challenging remote locations, with potential bilingual requirements depending on location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 1–2 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines (generators, pumps, HVAC, oil & gas).
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and electrical systems fundamentals.
• Physical ability to bend, squat, crouch, lift 50+ pounds and work indoors/outdoors.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL may be required.
• Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required.

Responsibilities
