Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Road Mechanic to maintain and repair a diverse fleet across our remote locations. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and complete repairs on diesel equipment to keep jobs running safely and efficiently.

Minimum 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel or heavy equipment; a high school diploma or GED is required. A valid driver’s license is necessary, and CDL may be required at some locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel or heavy equipment preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record; CDL may be required in some locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnostics on fleet to minimize downtime.
• Repair equipment safely and efficiently across diverse makes/models.
• Work in remote locations with a safety‑driven team environment.
