The Lehigh Valley Site Contractors division of H&K Group, Inc. is seeking a Road Mechanic to repair and maintain diesel and gasoline heavy equipment and trucks in the field in the Lehigh Valley area. The ideal candidate is energetic, self-motivated, organized, competent, and professional.

Pay range is $18-$40 per hour, dependent on skill level. The position offers company-paid health benefits, a 401(k) plan, tuition reimbursement, and opportunities for on-the-job and manufacturer training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• CDL B license is required or stated as part of qualifications.
• Clean driving record and ability to operate safely.
• Customer service and teamwork are essential.
• General computer knowledge and Caterpillar ET&SIS software familiarity.
• Ability to use mechanics hand tools, torch and welder.
• Ability to fit test and use PPE as needed.
• Ability to meet physical requirements for the job.

Responsabilités

• Repair and maintain heavy equipment and trucks in the Lehigh Valley area.
• Drive to various locations as needed and coordinate with shop leaders.
• Diagnose malfunctions, identify parts, and plan work procedures.
• Overhaul engines and perform inspections and alignments.
• Test operate equipment to verify repairs meet specifications.
• Follow OSHA, PA and DoT regulations and company safety policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
