Job summary

The H&K Group, Inc. is seeking a Road Mechanic to repair and maintain diesel and gasoline heavy equipment and trucks in the field in the Skippack area of Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate is energetic, self-motivated, organized, capable, and professional.

Pay ranges from $18 to $40 per hour and benefits include 100% company-paid health benefits, a 401(k) plan, tuition reimbursement, and additional training through H&K Academy. A company vehicle is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• CDL B license is required.
• Clean driving record and ability to meet physical demands.
• Customer service and teamwork are essential.
• General computer knowledge and Caterpillar ET/SIS software experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform work adhering to OSHA, PA and DoT regulations and company safety policies.
• Drive to various locations in the Lehigh Valley area.
• Identify parts and perform repairs or replacements as needed.
• Dismantle and examine equipment/trucks and verify malfunction, then repair to spec.
• Operate and test machinery to ensure proper function and safety.
