Job summary

Doggett Equipment Services Group is seeking a Road Technician to determine service needs for heavy machinery and restore equipment to proper operation. You will perform repairs, maintenance, and installations to keep machines running per manufacturer specs.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting of hydraulic and electrical systems, as well as diagnostic work on engines, transmissions and drive axles. Strong customer service and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in a technical field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with heavy machinery.
• Knowledge of Machine Control and Guidance operation; ability to diagnose hydraulic and electrical issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide troubleshooting and after-sale support to ensure timely resolution to customer issues.
• Diagnose hydraulic and electrical issues affecting machine control systems.
• Install and update equipment, check cables and connections to hardware.
• Provide technical guidance and customer demonstrations for Trimble products.
• Perform diagnostics and repair on propulsion, hydraulic, braking and electrical systems.
