Job summary

Doggett Equipment Services Group is seeking a Road Technician to determine service needs for various heavy machinery. The role includes completing maintenance, repairs, and installations to restore equipment to proper operation, with a strong emphasis on safety and customer support.

The position requires hands-on diagnostics of hydraulic and electrical issues, along with keeping equipment in line with manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with heavy machinery.
• Valid Texas driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Professional communication and basic computer skills.
• Be able to demonstrate technical, mechanical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Understanding of construction machinery and its application by customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide troubleshooting and after-sale support to ensure timely resolution to customer issues.
• Diagnose hydraulic and electrical issues affecting the machine control system.
• Properly install and update equipment and check cables and connections.
• Provide technical guidance and product demonstrations for Trimble products.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure equipment runs per specifications.
