Job summary

American Structurepoint in Evansville, IN is looking for a student pursuing Civil or related engineering to join our Transportation Design Groups (Road, Bridge, Traffic). You will participate in roadway design activities, alignments, typical sections, site assessments, and engineering report development.

You’ll gain hands-on experience with MicroStation/Geopak, AutoCAD, and related tools while contributing to roundabouts and bridge projects, urban and rural road improvements, with support from

Qualifications

• Student majoring in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Engineering, Land Survey or Structural Engineering (or related programs with Civil emphasis).
• Reliable transportation to and from office location.
• Strong work ethic, willingness to learn and try new things.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to roadway designs, lay out alignments, and create typical sections, site assessment and engineering report development.
• 3D modeling and work with MicroStation/Geopak, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, OpenBridge, Merlin Dash, QuickBridge.
• Different projects would include, Roundabouts, Bridge Replacements and Rehabilitations, Urban Roads, Rural Roads and Large Interstate Improvements.
• Other duties as assigned
