Montana Department of Transportation is seeking a Road Designer for the Billings District to conduct in-depth engineering analyses, manage project design, and oversee contracts. The role may lead teams and requires applying professional judgment within established guidelines.

Formación

• Knowledge and skills typically acquired through education and experience equivalent to AAS/2-year college or vocational training.
• Experience using computer-aided drafting and design (CADD) software packages.
• For Designer II: minimum of two years of design-related experience and five years in civil engineering technology/design drafting.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct in-depth engineering analyses and design tasks.
• Administer contracts and oversee projects and project design.
• May serve as lead worker and determine best solutions using established guidelines.
• Apply sound professional judgment to completed work.
