Job summary

New Enterprise Stone & Lime Co., Inc. is seeking a Construction Laborer (Trainee) in Camp Hill, PA to develop the skills required to join the laborer crew under foreperson supervision.

You will read roadway plans, assist with erosion control, traffic protection, and asphalt patching and compaction on local projects. The position emphasizes safety, QA standards, and teamwork with opportunities for hands-on growth as you progress to a skilled laborer role.

Responsibilities

• Develop all skills required to perform as a member of the laborer crew under the direction of the foreperson.
• Read roadway plans and standard drawings with the labor crew and foreperson.
• Assist with erosion and sediment control measures, traffic maintenance and protection, and asphalt patching and compacting.
• Perform related duties as directed by the Foreperson.
