County Road Association of Michigan is seeking a passionate, self-starting Road Conductor®, Database/Website Engagement Specialist to drive our technology, info management and web projects forward.

This is a brand-new, entry-level position in a small-team environment where your work is visible and recognized. You will support local road agencies, consultants and contractors, help steer a startup software product and manage the Association’s AMS database and website migration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, programming or engineering.
• Extensive practical knowledge of software development and web technologies.
• Ability to teach or convey ideas to others.

Responsibilities

• Assist local road agencies, consultants and contractors in using a novel platform.
• Help steer a startup software product by demoing, gathering feedback and shaping future features.
• Collaborate with CRA leadership on budgets, market plans and sales projections.
• Manage the Association’s AMS database and support volunteers across work groups.
• Re-create the Association’s website, from content curation to evaluating platforms and video integration.

The County Road Association of Michigan is looking for a passionate, self-starting Road Conductor®, Database/Website Engagement Specialist to drive our technology, info management and web projects forward.

This is a brand-new, entry-level position in a small-team environment where your work is visible and recognized!

We need a top-notch tech specialist to:

• Help local road agencies, consultants and contractors get real world work done with a novel platform.
• Help steer a startup software product to the next level: Demo it, gather feedback and help shape what gets built next.
• Work with CRA leadership on budgets, market plans and sales projections.
• Manage key Association Management Software database, including supporting over 100 volunteers on dozens of work group seats.
• Help re-create the Association’s website, from content curation to evaluating new platforms and video integration.

The position reports to the Deputy Director of Engagement and requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, ideally in computer science/ programming/engineering.

Required: Considerable practical knowledge and skill with software development, computers and web technologies. Demonstrated experience in utilizing interpersonal skills to teach or convey ideas. Willingness to work in an office environment in Lansing, Michigan on a daily basis where we value teamwork.
