Are you a seasoned mechanic who thrives on solving problems on the fly, mentoring others, and taking the lead in the shop or out in the field? Kimble Recycling and Disposal, Inc. is looking for an experienced ****Road Call Technician to join our team — someone who can step in confidently, lead by example, and keep our fleet running safely and efficiently.
This is more than a wrench-turning role. You’ll be counted on to train and mentor junior mechanics, take initiative in diagnosing issues, and bring a high level of expertise to every service call — with the potential to serve as a shift supervisor.

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues: brakes, hydraulics, suspensions, drivetrains, electrical systems, etc.
Conduct DOT safety checks and ensure regulatory compliance.
Mentor and train less-experienced technicians and apprentices.
Accurately document repairs, time, and parts used in our fleet software.
Assist with larger projects and support the lead mechanic or supervisor.
3+ years of hands-on experience in diesel truck or heavy equipment repair.
Advanced mechanical knowledge in:
Air brakes, steering/suspension, hydraulics, drivetrains, electrical
DOT regulations (required)
Strong leadership and mentoring skills
Ability to work independently and solve problems in the field
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license and insurability
