Jefferson County Road & Bridge Division seeks a Supervisor to lead construction, maintenance and snow removal operations for their shop. You will supervise staff, coordinate plans, review safety standards, and ensure adherence to policies while addressing public inquiries and emergencies.

The full-time position offers a comprehensive benefits package, a 4-day spring/summer schedule with year-round emergency readiness, and opportunities for promotion based on performance and experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience in construction and/or road maintenance and heavy equipment operation.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have CDL and DOT medical clearance with tanker endorsement.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and manage road and bridge maintenance activities, programs, and services.
• Develop maintenance objectives, schedule work, and ensure resources are available.
• Respond to emergencies and snow removal operations 24/7 and report within one hour of call.
• Ensure safety standards and PPE are used and compliance with policies.
