Job summary

Montgomery County PA is seeking a skilled maintenance supervisor to organize and oversee road and bridge upkeep across county facilities. You will schedule crew workloads, ensure safety standards, and respond to after-hours emergencies to keep transportation infrastructure functioning.

Responsibilities include coordinating with supervisors, applying PennDOT sign standards, and performing basic carpentry and masonry tasks.

Qualifications

• Ten years of experience in construction/structural road & bridge experience or related roles; or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, coordinate, and complete maintenance tasks safely and efficiently.
• Perform roads and bridge maintenance, including snow/ice removal.
• Respond to emergency callouts during off-hours, weekends, and inclement weather.
• Utilize PennDOT publications and traffic control standards for safe roadway operations.
• Perform basic carpentry and masonry tasks to support maintenance and construction.
• Coordinate with Crew Chief, Foreman, and Administrator on work assignments.
• Determine signage needs and prepare materials for installation.
• Other duties as assigned.
