Qualifications

• One year of work experience in road construction, maintenance, and repair, preferred.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Any satisfactory combination of experience and training may be acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Repair road surfaces by removing loose material and applying asphaltic materials.
• Perform bridge maintenance including cleaning decks and guardrail work.
• Operate heavy equipment and provide traffic control in work zones.
• Conduct routine maintenance of equipment and ensure safety procedures.
• Follow county policies and maintain attendance as required.
