Qualifications

• Requires completion of the 8th grade and 2 years' experience operating and maintaining moderately medium-sized construction and automotive equipment.
• Must possess a valid Florida driver's license at time of hire and maintain thereafter.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Florida CDL Class B at time of hire and maintain thereafter.
• A pre-employment skills test will be required.

Responsibilities

• Operates 10-wheel commercial trucks and medium/heavy equipment.
• Performs routine field lubrication and maintenance.
• Conducts daily safety inspections of equipment before and after use.
• Responds to emergency situations and supports laboring duties as needed.
• Relocates to other county locations based on operational needs.
