Job summary

EBA Engineering is actively seeking Construction Inspectors to support current and future Virginia DOT inspection work across multiple districts. You will perform thorough inspections, document findings, and ensure contract compliance while coordinating with project teams.

Flexibility to work in varying weather and terrains is essential. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, strong math skills, and experience with inspection reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Proficiency in mathematics (algebra, geometry, trigonometry).
• Ability to use materials testing equipment and to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of roadway, structural, and bridge construction/maintenance projects.
• Communicate inspection findings via written reports and verbal updates.
• Apply mathematical principles to measurements and calculations.
• Use testing equipment to assess quality and durability.
