Job summary

Exceptional Care for Children in Newark, DE is expanding its brand-new pediatric and young adult long-term care unit and seeks compassionate Registered Nurses to join the team. You will deliver high-quality clinical care, manage complex medical technology, administer medications, and build meaningful bonds with residents and families in a supportive setting.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Delaware (or multi-state compact).
• 1+ year of nursing experience preferred (Pediatric, NICU, PICU, or ventilator/complex care background).
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Current BLS/CPR certification required; PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive head-to-toe assessments, wound care, and respiratory support.
• Safely manage ventilators, tracheostomies, G-tubes, and central lines.
• Safely administer medications and IV therapies in accordance with physician orders.
• Develop, evaluate, and update individualized pediatric care plans.
• Partner with therapists, educators, and physicians to achieve developmental and clinical milestones.
• Offer ongoing guidance, education, and compassionate communication to families.

Position Overview

Exciting things are happening! We are expanding and seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team for the opening of our brand-new unit.

In this role, you will be part of a pioneering team delivering high-quality clinical care to our residents. You will manage complex medical technology, administer medications, and build meaningful, long-term bonds with patients and their families in an innovative, supportive setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Care: Provide comprehensive head-to-toe assessments, wound care, and respiratory support.

Qualifications
