Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Pediatric Critical Care (PICU) at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, NJ. This full-time night shift role requires 7:00 pm–7:30 am with every other weekend and rotating holidays, totaling 36 hours weekly. A NJ RN license, BLS, and preferred BSN are required.

EPIC EMR experience is a plus. The RN will deliver evidence-based pediatric critical care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, document precisely, and support

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience in Pediatric Critical Care or Pediatric/Cardiac care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and identify clinical changes.

To be considered for this RN opportunity, you must hold an active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing and a current American Heart Association BLS certification. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is strongly preferred, as is prior patient care experience in Pediatric Critical Care, Pediatrics, and/or Pediatric Cardiac specialty, and comfort with electronic medical record systems (EMR) like EPIC. In this role, you will work 7:00p-7:30a and every other weekend and rotating holidays. The work week is 36 hours per week.
