Job summary

Amp Americas LLC is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to deliver Renewable Natural Gas facilities and major capital improvements in Minnesota. You will collaborate with development, engineering, procurement, and project controls to guide projects from concept to completion, including cost estimation, scheduling, and design decisions.

The role requires extensive client and vendor engagement, strong problem solving, and leadership to drive on-time, on-budget results across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in a related field (e.g., Engineering) or equivalent experience
• Twelve (12) or more years of related project management experience (required)
• Five (5) or more years in Owner PM role dealing with EPC contractors (preferred)
• Demonstrate competence with project management principles and practices (required)
• PMP or PRINCE II certification (preferred)
• Passion for and track record of delivering results and problem solving (required)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships (required)
• Ability to work independently to organize, plan, coordinate, and manage multiple projects/tasks (required)
• Strong leadership skills in delegation, negotiation, communication, and consensus building (required)
• Experience with MS Office (required)
• Interest in alternative energy and/or renewable fuels (required)

Responsibilities

• Manage development and execution of RNG projects in accordance with quality and safety standards
• Own and resolve issues with client, farms, contractors, technology suppliers, and design teams from conception through commissioning
• Prepare cost estimates, design basis documents, and project execution plans for final design, procurement, and construction
• Own deliverables such as execution plans, QC documentation, cost estimates, schedules, risk registers, and regulatory plans
• Track budget, earned value, and activity reports to monitor productivity and progress
• Collaborate with commercial, operations, engineering, and supply chain to address risks and schedule conflicts
• Maintain a full-time presence at the project site during construction and start-up
• Participate in status meetings and site coordination meetings
• Allocate resources across the project life cycle
• Review design documents for conformance and accuracy
• Review and approve contractor bids, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
• Ensure adherence to installation, quality, and safety requirements
• Keep Amp leadership informed on progress and budget
• Lead commissioning plan development and close-out documentation
• Manage change orders, shop drawings, punch lists, and close-out activities
