Job summary

AD Energy Recruitment is seeking an RNG Process Engineer to design, optimize, and maintain renewable natural gas production processes, including anaerobic digestion, biogas upgrading, and gas separation technologies.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with 3–5 years in process engineering; Master’s degree is a plus. Strong analytical, teamwork, and safety mindset required to support cross-functional operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering; Master’s degree a plus.
• 3–5+ years in process engineering; RNG/biogas experience preferred.
• Proficiency with process simulation software and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize RNG production processes (anaerobic digestion, biogas upgrading, gas separation).
• Lead or support RNG project planning, execution, and commissioning.
• Provide engineering support for operations, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
• Monitor process performance and ensure safety and environmental compliance.
• Document process designs, modifications and operating procedures.
