Job summary

ENERGYneering Solutions Inc. in Rougemont, North Carolina, seeks a Plant Operator to operate and maintain a landfill gas to RNG plant. You will work with the Plant Manager, handle maintenance, and ensure safe, efficient plant performance.

The ideal candidate has mechanical aptitude, maintenance experience, and the ability to read diagrams. Willingness to travel and support a safety-first culture is essential.

Qualifications

• 1 - 5 years of Plant operations and related experience.
• Trade school certification, high school diploma or GED.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and background.
• Ability to read basic Process Flow Diagrams and Electrical Schematics.
• Ability to use basic troubleshooting tools such as multimeters, thermographic equipment, and gas testing equipment.
• Basic Windows-based computer skills.
• Experience in maintenance planning and preventative maintenance strategies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently, self-motivate, and communicate with customers and team members.
• 12 hour shifts with rotating schedule.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Plant and all equipment safely and neatly.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems with remote and onsite support.
• Maximize SCADA utilization for predictive and proactive operations and maintenance.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on major and ancillary equipment.
• Record events and data using the ODMS system.
• Ensure compliance with regulations; maintain permits and inspections.
• Respond to plant callouts within 2 hours.
• Assist with training of coworkers and other Operators.
• Travel to assist other plants or for training.
• Follow SOPs and contribute to SOP development.
