Job summary

AD Energy Recruitment seeks an experienced Operations Engineer to maximise efficiency and reliability across RNG facilities. You will use data to identify performance improvements, reduce costs and support new plant design with operability in mind.

The role involves collaborating with operators, maintenance and instrumentation teams, developing dashboards, and leading retrofit projects to enhance asset performance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years engineering experience in natural gas processing or related plants.
• Experience in RNG/biogas, anaerobic digestion or gas processing desirable.
• Strong analytics and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production across RNG facilities to identify optimisation opportunities.
• Analyse downtime and process trends to improve reliability and productivity.
• Troubleshoot anaerobic digestion systems and related process equipment.
• Collaborate with Plant Operators, Maintenance and Instrumentation teams to resolve issues.
• Develop operational reports and performance metrics for senior management.
• Lead retrofit and plant improvement projects increasing efficiency and reducing OPEX.
• Review process designs, P&IDs and construction plans with operations focus.
• Develop dashboards to monitor key operational KPIs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering standards.
