Job summary

DCO Energy, LLC in Marlette, Michigan seeks a Dairy RNG Plant Operator to monitor and maintain dairy manure-based gas processing systems, including anaerobic digesters, membranes, and gas upgrading equipment. Role requires on-call availability and the ability to respond to alarms and safety checks.

You will perform preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, record process data, and ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years in industrial operations, power generation, oil/gas, or high-pressure gas processing.
• Knowledge of gas flow, instrumentation (4-20mA), PLC systems, and mechanical repair skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license and ability to work on-call rotations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied weather.

Responsibilities

• Operations: Monitor dairy-based anaerobic digesters and gas processing equipment.
• Maintenance: Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure regulatory and SOP adherence; handle potential H2S hazards.
• Troubleshooting: Respond to alarms and rectify equipment malfunctions.
• Data Management: Record and analyze process data to optimize performance.
• Site Management: Maintain site cleanliness and interact with farm staff.
